Odd Fail?
So, I’m running Borderlands on my computer, and I’m getting tired of the lack of fps; the delay and glitchiness is interfering with my gameplay. I over-clock my graphics card, still, nothing. I turn all of the settings way down. Still, nothing. It does not matter what the resolution is: 800x600 or 1920x1080. I mean, I’ve determined it’s my computer, but the odd fail...

Surprised, and Pleased, Last Night
I finally sat down with Krysis and we watched Something Something Something Darkside. Of course I liked it.
I also discovered last night that my co-worker and I have a lot more in common than I previously thought. We watched quite a few episodes of Avatar: the Last Air Bender. My co-worker is now an Elevator Bender; quite the site to see. He also kept complimenting me… It was nice, but...

Just Tonight
One of my co-workers just told me that tonight was *the* night to view the moon, and he was right. The moon is it’s brightest tonight, and it is BEAUTIFUL. I had to step outside to look at it for a minute or two, even without a jacket in this cold. I am so glad I did. If only I could bear the cold for longer, and had a camera better than my cell phone. I tried… but to no avail.

Not Today...
Well, I woke up early enough, and I got to see some of the sunrise, but I didn’t get to sit down and watch it. Instead, I had breakfast with Krysis, which was really nice, and then it was off to do work. I just *might* have to take a break for Borderlands, though… I’m hooked. After I beat Borderlands, I might go backwards and play Fallout 3 because it’s not one I got to...

Naturally...
It seemed to snow quite a bit between the time I went inside for my 7p class, and the time I got out ~9:30p. Soft, white powder covered the ground; windblown away in some places, piled in others. It was a very *light* dusting in that the snow was not heavy enough to hold its own against the mighty winds! Still… It snowed. I’m happy.

Even Just One Flake...
Well, the clouds came back, and they brought at least some snow with them! The lightest snow was falling as I walked back from the mail room with my first shipment of books. It was so wonderful to see again that I couldn’t help but smile as I walked.

Communication In My Field
So, I’m a computer science majour, and I’m looking to go into the programming business. For my majour, I need to take a technical writing course. My teacher asked us to interview someone in our field of interest and ask them about written communication in their job, so I emailed someone at the company I’m looking towards for an internship. It’s a small company, and I...

Clear Skies
This morning was the first in a while that wasn’t overcast. I actually got to see part of the sunrise, although I missed most of it. This whole waking up early thing is really helping me. I get so much done first thing in the morning and it feels great! I don’t stress so much during the rest of the day, and I can usually think clearly enough to feel like I’m able to...

Update Between Homework Assignments
Well, not all of the snow survived. There are some large ((and surprisingly green)) patches of grass all over campus. However, there’s great news: it’s snowing again! It looks like they didn’t see this coming. iGoogle and weather.com agree that it doesn’t even “feel like” it’s cold enough to snow. Granted, it’s a wet snow, but it’s still...

Our Biggest Threat
Where I am, snow isn’t the worst thing that could happen. Rain is. And it’s raining today. Even when they can’t plow the sidewalks and roads, snow is so much better. It’s winter. It’s cold. At night, the wet ground freezes and I don’t want to hear it from people who are glad it’s raining because the snow will melt. It won’t. It’s...

Mum took me to a new place today, and I fell in love with it. I just wish there were more places near school like HMart. It’s like a very small mall, mostly grocery store/food court, specializing in Asian food; there’s also Indian and Mexican food there, but mostly Asian food. If only I could buy the foods I can get there at school…
One of my favourites are definitely the...

Umm... Yeah, that's not what I'm thinking...
So, there’s-
teabagging: in the FPS fashion of crouching repeatedly over a dead player’s head
and then there’s-
teabagging: in the political fashion of protesting taxes
Now, I just need to keep this in mind when watching politics with my parents. They don’t quite understand why I burst out laughing at the image of these people teabagging politicians.

Snow Train
It’s felt, for the past month, that I’ve lived between home and school and not at either. I live on the train, and I can’t say I hate it. There’s just something about the train… It’s not hard for me to spend the entire ride staring out the window, especially as we pass by water and with all the snow there is on the ground. Today’s a lucky day. ...
